TNZ Productions LLC — KovaPay

KovaPay is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We collect only what we need to provide the service, we never sell your information, and we never share it with advertisers.
1. Who We Are
KovaPay is a product of TNZ Productions LLC, a Washington State limited liability company. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to TNZ Productions LLC.

2. Information We Collect
2a. Account Registration
When you create a KovaPay account, we collect:
- Full name, email address, and phone number
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of your Social Security Number — used solely for identity verification via Stripe
- Business name, type, and address (for business accounts)
- Password (stored as a salted hash — we never store your plaintext password)
2b. Payment Processing
When you enroll as a merchant or connect a bank/debit card, we collect:
- Bank account and debit card information — collected directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store raw bank or card numbers on KovaPay servers.
- Transaction data — payment amounts, timestamps, and merchant IDs stored for your records and required by law.
Powered by Stripe. KovaPay payment processing is powered by Stripe. Card numbers, bank account details, and identity documents are handled directly by Stripe under their security infrastructure. We never see or store your raw card numbers.

2c. App Usage
- Device information — OS version, device model, app version
- Crash reports — if the app encounters an error, an automatic report is sent containing app state (no personal financial data)
- Profile photos — if you choose to upload an avatar
2d. Website Visitors
When you visit getkovapay.com we collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). We do not use tracking pixels, third-party advertising cookies, or behavioral analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:
- Stripe — payment processing, identity verification, and payouts. Required to operate the service.
- Brevo — transactional email delivery only (receipts, notifications). No marketing data shared.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of TNZ Productions LLC, our users, or the public.
- Business transfer — if TNZ Productions LLC is acquired or merges, your data may transfer as part of that transaction. You will be notified.
We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Payment Card Data
KovaPay is designed so that TNZ Productions LLC never touches raw payment card data:
- Card numbers are read directly by your device's NFC hardware and transmitted encrypted directly to Stripe
- KovaPay stores only the last 4 digits of a card, card brand, and transaction ID — never the full card number, CVV, or expiration date
- We are not a PCI DSS merchant — Stripe handles all card data storage and transmission under their PCI Level 1 certification
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active and for 7 years after closure (required for financial compliance)
- Transaction records are retained for 7 years (IRS and financial regulation requirement)
- Crash reports are retained for 90 days then automatically deleted
- You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@kovapos.com
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Bcrypt hashing for passwords
- JWT tokens for session authentication
- AWS infrastructure with security groups and access controls
- Stripe's PCI Level 1 certified infrastructure for all payment data
9. Children's Privacy
KovaPay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at support@kovapos.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of KovaPay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
